There’s always fishing “happening” here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. For now, the Columbia River is closed for spring Chinook. The quota for Sturgeon was reached early this year so we aren’t looking for Sturgeon right now. But over on the Multnomah Chanel fishing has been good.
The Multnomah Channel has been fishing consistently for a couple + weeks now. Water temp on the Multnomah came up above 55° which puts fish on the move. Migrating fish is what everyone depends on. Fishing has been productive.
The bite up river by the Power-lines is building momentum but the bite up around Oregon city below the falls is still minimal due to little water flow and now the grass becoming an issue for the ones fishing that area.
Overall, lots going on and plenty of great fishing happening for everyone.
What’s Working?
Herring behind triangle flashers have been most consistent but 360 flashers with Herring or spinners has started to kick off the past week.
